Sherri Bevan Walsh…prosecutor with a heart!

March 25, 2009

County prosecutor….mean, tough, rough, hard-nosed? Yes, sometimes they have to be. But Summit County prosecutor Sherri Bevan Walsh is pleasant, has lots of positive energy, and fun to be around. She defies the stereotype of the tough prosecutor.  Now don’t get me wrong, she can pull out her “stern” side when she has to. But overall, she’s a mom, a wife, a daughter, a sister and she’s passionate about helping people.

Check out her story from tonight’s Woman 2 Woman!

McDonald’s Filet-of-fish song!

March 21, 2009

I am absolutely, positively hooked on the Micky Dee’s filet-of-fish song! I think I sing it about 5 times a day. It just pops out at the craziest times and I crack up.

But what’s interesting is that it makes me want to go buy one. Seriously! I’m averaging twice a week now and I know it’s because of that song.

“What if it were you hanging up on this wall, if that were you in that sandwhich you wouldn’t be laughing at all!”  Having the fish sing the song is genius and the voice is hilarious. How about the men that just sit there nodding their heads and eating a fish sandwhich!!!

I have to say, McDonald’s gets  two thumbs up for this one.

Have you heard/seen the commercial? What do you think of the song?

Write me back!

Liz Symon…great energy, class, and style

March 18, 2009

When I say the name Liz Symon some of you may not know who she is. Most people know her husband Iron Chef Michael Symon. But Liz is the wind beneath his wings and he’ll be the first to tell you that.  I’ve known both of them for years and they are a great couple and they work well together.

Liz is so easy to talk to and a lot of fun. I had to remember that I was working because we were having such a great time hanging out at Lola’s in downtown Cleveland.  Liz has the magic touch when it comes to design and creating a warm, comfortable dining experience. She’s also great at creating award winning wine lists.

I personally think she’s great!  I’m sure you’ll see what I mean when you click the link below.

Carolyn Brown…a purpose driven life

March 10, 2009

Meeting Carolyn Brown, who is the wife of Cavs coach Mike Brown, was  refreshing, entertaining, and very relaxing.  She is the real deal.  Her  genuine and down-to-earth personality put me at ease immediately.

There’s a saying, to whom much is given much is required. Carolyn lives this statement. She knows she has a blessed life and believes her purpose is to go out in the community and help others. Especially the children of Northeast Ohio. She loves children and desires to see them achieve their dreams.

Carolyn also loves her family. They are her first priority.   And she knows how to balance it all…strict time management.

It was a joy to talk to her and I think you will enjoy hearing and seeing her story. Click on the link below to watch!
